This musume kit was voted for by my Patrons back in August 2022. Apart from the white stripes on the thighs there really isn’t much detail painting needed, and things were mostly going smoothly on this build – except when I accidentally fused the shoulder joint whilst I was trying to fix the seam :S . I ended up having to use the spare shoulder parts from the base “Figurerise” runner. These have some peg holes intended for slotting armour over, so I had to putty these up and I’m not entirely happy with the end result.
This was yet another kit which crapped out on my during the photoshoot process, one of the eye decals kinda just cracked and fell off so I had to cut the shoot short before I could get the all the poses I wanted.
Painting
Purple – Mr Color Purple + Mr Color Blue FS + bit of Titans Blue 2
Dark Purple – Mr Color Blue FS + Mr Color Purple
Light Purple – Mr Color Purple base coat, white added for highlights.
White – Mr Color 306 Grey FS base coat, followed by Gaianotes pure white
Hairpin Gold – Mr Color GX Red Gold, I didn’t quite like the finish on this so I sprayed a bit of Gaianotes Starbright Gold on top.
Scarf Red – Mr Color Russet, I then added some black and postshaded the edges
Light grey – Mr Color 306 Grey FS + bit of purple, added white for highlights
Kunai Metallic – Mr Color GX Ueno Black base coat, followed by SMS Stainless Steel
